EfficiencyIT welcomes Giles Pattison as Business Transformation Director

EfficiencyIT strengthens its leadership team with Giles Pattison, aiming to expand its modular data centre operations amid rising AI demands.

EfficiencyIT, a UK-founded specialist in prefabricated modular data centres and IT environments, has reinforced its senior leadership by appointing Giles Pattison as the new Business Transformation Director. This move helps demonstrate the company's dedication to expanding its operations amidst the surging demands in AI and high-density computing.

Pattison brings more than two decades of commercial leadership experience to EfficiencyIT. His career, predominantly within Schneider Electric, has endowed him with extensive acumen in sales strategy and commercial transformation, particularly in the data centre realm.

While at Schneider Electric, Giles served as the Data Centre Commercial Operations and Strategy Director for Europe, where he championed the company's channel business operations. His tenure was marked by consistent growth and increased market share across European territories.

EfficiencyIT’s Managing Director, Nick Ewing, emphasised Pattison’s appointment as pivotal, noting his expertise in commercial strategy and leadership as important to the company's future trajectory. With Giles onboard, EfficiencyIT aims to refine its long-term strategies and enhance its capacity to deliver exceptional customer service amid its expansion.

The primary objective of Giles's role will be to support EfficiencyIT's founders in scaling the business, advancing strategic initiatives, and optimising processes crucial for ongoing growth—especially in the rapidly evolving modular data centre market.

As EfficiencyIT continues to help improve the contours of the data centre industry, Giles's insights and alignment with industry advancements are expected to propel the company further. This is particularly important as AI workloads increasingly demand scalable and swift infrastructure solutions across the UK and Europe.
