Russelectric, part of the Siemens group, has introduced a new addition to its product line: the ATS Remote Annunciator (RTS-RA). It is designed to support power management by consolidating data from multiple Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) into a single display interface.
The RTS-RA allows configurable monitoring of the position and status of up to eight ATS units, specifically the RTSCD and RPTCS models. It provides information such as power readings, active alarms, and stored historical alarm data. The system also supports remote functions including load testing and timer adjustments via RS-422/RS-485 communication protocols.
Communication features include the option to configure email notifications for alarms. An optional Ethernet interface enables data exchange using the OPC UA protocol, allowing integration with SCADA systems or building management systems.
The Russelectric ATS product range is designed to manage the transfer of electrical loads between a preferred and an alternate power source when voltage or frequency conditions fall outside defined thresholds. When conditions return to acceptable levels on the preferred source, the system can retransfer the load back to that source to maintain continuous power delivery.
