SolarWinds, an IT management software, has revealed updates to its partner programme during the 2026 Partner Summit. This initiative updates the partner programme, introducing new benefits and resources to support partner activities and customer engagement.

According to Barb Huelskamp, VP of Global Channel Sales and Alliances, the programme supports positive customer outcomes and the partner ecosystem. By aligning the company’s strategy with its core values, the programme is designed to provide predictable and scalable growth opportunities for partners and their clientele.

Key Updates to the Programme:

  • Tiered Benefits: SolarWinds introduces a tiered benefit system, allowing partners to access additional benefits as they progress within the programme. Incentives based on metrics like channel-initiated growth aim to encourage investment and scale. Collaborating with distributors, SolarWinds plans to broaden these benefits to resellers, complemented by a pilot rewards programme in North America offering points for cash and prizes.
  • Marketing Investments: Acknowledging the critical role of a sustained pipeline, enhanced support is on offer to partners based on their programme tier. The new marketing support aims to foster demand and expedite growth through proposal-based marketing funds, co-brandable assets, and predefined campaign bundles available on the partner portal.
  • Enablement: Building on the advancements of the 2025 programme, the 2026 iteration aims to bring curriculum and specialised training in areas such as public sector verticals. Partners have access to new resources and certifications tailored to enhance their expertise and service offerings.
  • Partner Experience: A partner portal is set to refine the partner experience with features like streamlined deal registrations, better lead sharing, simplified NFR requests, and enhanced onboarding tools.

SolarWinds CEO, Sudhakar Ramakrishna, reaffirms the company's commitment to fostering a partner-centric culture. With these investments aimed at operational resilience, the programme aims to equip partners to assist customers in identifying disruptions and providing solutions that are effective, supporting recovery and growth.
