Alicia Shepherd to lead GTIA's UK & Ireland community

GTIA appoints Alicia Shepherd as Regional Community Manager to enhance engagement and growth.

The Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA) has announced the appointment of Alicia Shepherd as Regional Community Manager for the UK & Ireland. Shepherd brings over three decades of experience in the technology sector, including a nine-year tenure as Director of Partner Engagement at Terra Computer UK, where she focused on partner engagement and community development.

Her experience spans distribution, SaaS, vendor ecosystems, and IT Service Provider (ITSP) communities. During her time at Terra Computer UK, she worked on initiatives to strengthen community relationships, support growth opportunities, and facilitate commercial outcomes.

In her new role at GTIA, Shepherd will focus on:
  • Attracting new ITSP members to the organisation
  • Increasing vendor engagement within the ecosystem
  • Enhancing the use of GTIA member benefits and programmes
  • Supporting members in deriving value from their membership
Shepherd has also previously contributed to GTIA initiatives as a member of the UK & Ireland Executive Council at Terra Computer UK. Her experience includes involvement in ambassador programmes, mentorship schemes, industry events, and thought leadership panels.
