Antti Poikola helps steer Finland towards sustainable data infrastructure

Antti “Jogi” Poikola takes charge of FDCA to strengthen Finland's data centre industry.

Antti “Jogi” Poikola has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Finnish Data Center Association (FDCA), effective 2 February 2026.

The data centre industry in Finland is experiencing significant growth, and Poikola’s role as Managing Director will involve overseeing the association’s day-to-day operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and coordinating activities with the Board and member companies. FDCA represents a wide range of companies involved in the data centre sector, including operators, service providers, construction and maintenance firms, consulting companies, and other stakeholders. Its membership now exceeds 200 companies.

Poikola brings experience in information and technology policy, public affairs communications, and building national and European networks. He previously served as Lead Expert in the data economy at Technology Industries of Finland.

In his new role, Poikola has stated: “Internationally, Finland is known as a country of sustainable data centers. We must fully leverage this position and build a strong Finnish ecosystem around data center investments."

Founded in 2014, the FDCA aims to support the growth and development of Finland’s data centre industry, promoting sustainable practices and collaboration among its members.
