Alteryx has announced an extension of its collaboration with Google Cloud. This move aims to make Google's BigQuery, an autonomous data to AI platform, more accessible and integrated for Alteryx business teams.

Many organisations face challenges as they transition to cloud-based data platforms for analytics and AI, often resulting in a growing gap between data storage and data utilisation. Alteryx's expanded partnership with Google Cloud seeks to bridge this gap. By integrating governed analytics workflows directly into BigQuery, they hope to ensure seamless and trustworthy data management while maintaining scalability.

A significant development is the general availability of Live Query for BigQuery, which permits users to create and run workflows within BigQuery without the need to move data. This aims to ensure that insights remain AI-ready while upholding centralised security and adherence to business logic.

Furthermore, Alteryx is set to launch Alteryx One: Google Edition, a Google-centric version designed for users of Google Cloud technologies. This edition will offer enhanced data preparation, analytics capabilities, and direct connections to BigQuery, Google Sheets, and Google Drive, thus supporting teams in accelerating their insights and automating workflows efficiently.

The new features mark a step up for Alteryx, as the company embeds governed, repeatable business logic into BigQuery. This enables those familiar with business operations to shape and maintain analytics in a rapidly evolving landscape, ensuring AI outcomes remain aligned with business standards.

Live Query for BigQuery seeks to provide joint customers with an optimised Alteryx experience. Analytic workflows are executed within Google Cloud, leveraging BigQuery's strengths in performance, scalability, and security—all while enabling organisations to act swiftly without compromising data integrity.

Information workers benefit from intuitive access to datasets through a no-code interface, allowing for agile data preparation and transformation. Meanwhile, IT and data teams can expect enhanced governance and security, and workflows can remain safeguarded within Google Cloud.

The Alteryx-Google partnership helps demonstrate the importance of accurate, consistent, and transparent analytics in areas such as revenue reporting, compliance, and operational planning. High-quality data underpins successful AI applications, ensuring that outcomes align with evolving business requirements.

In embedding these capabilities, Alteryx aims to simplify the cloud architecture, allowing business teams to transition from data to insights without fear of trust erosion. As businesses continue to integrate AI into their processes, Alteryx and Google Cloud offer a platform seeking to handle the analytics and AI challenges ahead.
