Westcon-Comstor has been appointed as the first Authorised Training Partner (ATP) in Europe for Proofpoint, the well-regarded cybersecurity and compliance company. This new accreditation allows Westcon-Comstor to deliver Proofpoint-certified education across the continent.

The training services will be facilitated through the Westcon-Comstor Academy, offering comprehensive multi-vendor technical programs designed to meet partner needs. This development significantly enhances the enablement portfolio of Westcon-Comstor while strengthening its partnership with Proofpoint. It is expected to catalyze partner upskilling and certification while integrating Proofpoint's courses into the academy’s already diverse offering.

With this partnership, Westcon-Comstor will build on its existing track record of imparting presales, technical, and enablement training to over 3,000 channel partners and more than 30,000 individuals worldwide since 2017. Partners can now expect an enriched product knowledge experience alongside current vendor training and engineering capability enhancement.

Apart from this collaboration with Proofpoint, Westcon-Comstor is already an authorized training partner for Palo Alto Networks and Check Point Software globally and serves as the largest Authorised Training Centre (ATC) for F5 across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The academy further extends accredited training to multiple cybersecurity and networking vendors under Westcon-Comstor’s international portfolio including Infoblox, Extreme Networks, and Broadcom.

Through the strategic efforts of Westcon-Comstor, access to certified Proofpoint education is set to expand across Europe with an established distribution presence in several countries such as the UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, and more.
