“Leaseweb Public Cloud has been designed in close consultation with customers who value the hyperscale concept but want an alternative with better price, performance and flexibility,” said Con Zwinkels, CEO at Leaseweb. “Our track record, leadership and customer-first approach, position us to make a significant, positive impact on the public cloud market.”

"The primary reason we chose Leaseweb was their balance between price and performance,” said Omer Karabacak, Head of Infrastructure at Sporttotal.tv GmbH. “Although there may be cheaper alternatives, it doesn't necessarily mean they are of good quality. Additionally, Leaseweb stands out in terms of its excellent customer support. No other company has provided us with a whole team of people who guide us every step of the way. Their consultative approach, partnership, and flexibility have been invaluable. Furthermore, we appreciate Leaseweb’s ease of use. Whether it’s during the purchase phase, navigating the Customer Portal, or accessing the Knowledge Base, the entire experience has been positive. We're looking forward to continuing our collaboration and are excited about what the future holds for us working together."

Leaseweb Public Cloud Instances are delivered as virtual servers that provide a range of options for different types of workloads, including general purpose, compute optimised and memory optimised. Each instance belongs to a specific vintage which determines compute power, storage, and network capabilities. Private network functionality is available for free and enables customers to connect Public Cloud instances and dedicated servers, while storage options include network-attached central SSD storage with built-in redundancy or local NVMe with 15K IOPS performance and low latency.

Additional features and capabilities include load balancer aimed at ensuring optimal performance and high availability by smartly distributing of newly generated customer requests. This results in excellent app performance, reduce latency, and quicker response times to user requests. In case of automated deployments, customers can leverage autoscaling, by effortlessly matching resources in demand, and at same time saving costs and ensuring optimal performance.

A complimentary firewall boosts security for all public cloud instances, adding an extra layer of protection against unauthorised incoming traffic. In addition, robust data protection capabilities include a free snapshot with every instance.
