ConnectWise has announced a new partnership with e92plus, the leading cyber security VAD for the UK channel.  The partnership combines ConnectWise’s decades of experience in the MSP space and e92plus’ thirty years of bringing world-class security offerings to VARs.  The agreement covers UK and Northern Ireland.

The benefits of moving to a managed services model are increasingly recognised and well-understood.  According to MarketResearchFuture.com, the Managed Security Services Market is expected to reach USD $34 billion by the end of 2022.  However, for many VARs making the transition can seem a daunting, and difficult path. This new partnership between ConnectWise and e92plus will give these VARS the tools, knowledge and support they need to build and manage their own security practice.

ConnectWise will become one of the core technologies offered as part of e92plus’ MSP portfolio, which brings together best of breed cybersecurity technologies, including BitDefender, CompTIA, Secure PIM, Titan HQ and Trend Micro.  The ConnectWise platform enables MSPs to create business efficiencies by delivering the tools they need from a CRM, ticketing system, help desk, and tools for project management, billing, and procurement.

As part of the partnership ConnectWise and e92plus will develop and deliver a comprehensive teaching and mentoring program to help VARs learn best practices, avoid pitfalls and become mature MSPs more quickly.  Webinars and workshops will be offered covering a wide range of topics including hiring and training talent; launching a security practice (pricing, packaging and compensating); marketing; operationalisation and billing.

Jamie Pearce, head of e92plus’ MSP division, said: “Adding ConnectWise to our MSP portfolio will give our partners the tools, services and expertise they need to further maximise the business opportunity that the cyber security sector presents.  Without a doubt, the partnership with ConnectWise will help enable the thousands of VARs who want to make that move into managed services – and build a profitable business.”

Gregg Lalle, SVP International Sales at ConnectWise, said: “Like ConnectWise, e92plus is committed to creating a strong community and driving partner success.  This ethos, when combined with ConnectWise’s experience in the MSP space and e92plus’ foundation in world-class cyber security offerings creates the ideal environment to help VARs conquer the challenge of moving to a managed services model.”

Jamie Pearce concluded: “ConnectWise is our ideal partner.  It shares the same values, it has deep history, experience and credibility within the MSP community, and it recognises the value that channel partners have to play.”
