Azlan has been appointed in Europe as an official distribution partner for Micro Focus, a leading specialist enterprise software company. Through the agreement, Micro Focus’ portfolio solutions are now available to Tech Data partners across Europe.

Following the completion of its merger with Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) software business in August, the combined Micro Focus organisation is focused on building, selling and supporting software to solve the most complex technology problems for customers, enabling them to embrace innovation in a world of hybrid IT. The alliance of two software leaders has created the world’s seventh largest pure-play enterprise software company.

Steve Cant, HPE business unit director, Europe, at Tech Data, said: “This is an important partnership for Azlan and for our partners to address the increasing hybrid IT needs of customers. The merger of Micro Focus and HPE Software brought together a powerful combination of solutions and talent. Our long-standing relationship with both organisations prior to the merger, and our in-depth expertise in their software, means that we are ideally positioned to provide a smooth transition for partners and ensure they reap the full rewards from the alliance of these two potent software forces.”

Ben Viollet, distribution director, Europe Middle East & Africa, at Micro Focus, stated: ‘Our mission is to provide a best-in-class portfolio of enterprise-grade scalable software with built in-analytics, and build high-quality products, putting customers at the centre of our innovation. Through our partnership with Azlan, we are uniquely placed to help customers and partners address opportunities and challenges within the new hybrid model for enterprise IT – from mainframe to mobile and cloud. We look forward to working with Azlan to enable and support our partners in driving true digital transformation for their customers.”
