Central London Data Centre specialists offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that will change the data centre market.

Volta Data Centres, developer and operator of central London’s newest purpose-designed, carrier-neutral data centre, launches a never seen before Service Level Agreement (SLA) which it believes will disrupt the data centre market.

Volta is continuing to challenge the way traditional data centres operate, giving any company one whole year of free service credit for affected racks if they lose 100% power availability to those racks - even if it’s just for a fraction of a second. This ground breaking Platinum Power SLA goes hand in hand with its previous first of ‘Power by the Hour’ model.

Jon Arnold, Managing Director, Volta Data Centres, explains, “This SLA disrupts the small print and is a great model that increases competitiveness and choice within the data centre market. The cloud has transformed the way businesses operate and we feel it’s time for data centres to become more competitive and make changes to their service offerings. We are putting our money where our mouth is; with two resilient power connections from two main grid stations and our own 33kV transformers on site, we are confident we will always have power for our customers.”

The Platinum Power SLA agreement will be offered to new customers at its state of the art data centre in Great Sutton Street, E.C.1. This unique business model is ideal for any organisation which must have 100% power availability such as the finance, legal and media sectors or any City-based companies.
