A second company has become a partner with Netsuite to provide analytics and BI capabilities off the back of the single core datafile on a company’s activities that Netsuite produces as part of its business management and ERP operations.

Actian Corporation has announced that it is partnering with Netsuite offer its customers the ability to seamlessly connect their business-critical NetSuite ERP data with a variety of other data sources. The Actian connector, built using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud Computing Platform, can eliminate key challenges from the data integration process, paving the way for NetSuite customers to experience faster implementation times and quicker return on investment.

“NetSuite has always understood that customers want the experience of an integrated suite. But providing simple, frictionless connectivity on the fly between systems can be challenging, time-consuming and expensive”

By increasing the number of data sources that can easily connect to NetSuite cloud business management solutions, the Actian connector enables NetSuite customers to make more accurate and timely decisions to improve key business processes like leads-to-cash, inventory, e-commerce and recurring billing.

Through this partnership with NetSuite, the Actian Analytics Platform will also be available from within the NetSuite platform, enabling customers to deploy business processes and connect to any variety and volume of data sources through a unified interface, removing friction and complexity from the data integration process.

All NetSuite customers, from mid-sized organisations to large enterprises, can leverage the Actian platform, providing access and integration capabilities for enterprise data, social data and Internet of Things data, whether it resides on-premises or in the cloud.

“NetSuite customers do not want to be forced to use external tools to get the full benefits of their ERP solution. They want to quickly solve business process challenges and use analytics to create transformational changes,” said Lance Speck, Actian General Manager of Cloud and Verticals. “By making connectivity virtually invisible, we arm NetSuite customers with the ability to generate new revenue and gain new insights about their businesses and customers through the use of a combined cloud-based platform. We will give NetSuite customers a superior user experience while helping them shorten time to revenue and positioning them to drive Big Data insights in the future.”

The Actian Analytics Platform is an end-to-end platform that enables accelerated business impact from high-performance analytics on diverse data sources at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions. This agreement closely aligns with the companies’ respective cloud solutions, and will give NetSuite customers the ability to leverage the entire Actian Analytics Platform.

Actian claims it can transform Big Data into business value for any organisation – not just the privileged few. It claims that the architecture of the Actian Analytics Platform delivers high performance on off-the-shelf hardware, overcoming key technical and economic barriers to broad adoption of Big Data.

The company also makes Hadoop enterprise-grade by providing high-performance ELT, visual design and SQL analytics on Hadoop without the need for MapReduce skills.
