Help for choosing a host

Finding the right hosting solution is rarely straight forward, so CWCS has come up with a way to offer a helping hand

  • 12 years ago Posted in

Finding the right hosting solution can become a rather hit and miss process, especially for businesses looking to move some processes to the cloud. But some help is now available in the form of the CWCS Solution Finder tool. Developed by CWCS Managed Hosting, this aims to make the process of choosing one of its hosting solutions simpler, easier and more transparent.

The Solution Finder asks clear questions, allowing the user to outline how they will use their hosting and for what purposes, before recommending the best type of solution for those specific requirements. It gives customers options on the key aspects of hosting, allowing them to find a tailored solution that suits their needs.

It starts by asking about the type of website, storage space requirements and traffic expectations, and goes on to define hosting priorities, such as cost, scalability and reliability, and how quickly the hosting is needed.

At the end of the process, the customer is presented with a recommendation, be that a cloud server, dedicated server, private cloud solution or an alternative specific to their requirements. They can then get in touch with the CWCS Managed Hosting experts to finalise the details and set up the hosting.

“Choosing the right type of hosting product depends on a number of factors, and not everyone knows where to start,” said Karl Mendez, CEO at CWCS. “By talking customers through the selection process we can remove the mystery of hosting and make the technology even more accessible for businesses, giving them ownership of their choice and their system, while increasing their confidence in how they will use it.

“The Solution Finder walks customers through each and every aspect of hosting, using clear and easy to understand language, and it only takes a few minutes. By the end, each customer will find out which hosting solution is likely to be the best option for them. Of course, if they want to know more our experts are always here to help and can set up the hosting as quickly as possible.”

The Solution Finder tool can be found here. It is free to use and no personal information is required. The recommended solution is a guide and a full analysis of requirements will be made by CWCS experts once the customer gets in touch.
