Outsourcery finalist in Microsoft worldwide Partner Awards 2013

The UK company now recognised as one of the top three Microsoft-led global cloud platforms and the European leader.

Outsourcery, the Cloud Service Provider, has been announced as a finalist in the Server Platform category in the 2013 Microsoft worldwide Partner Awards. The annual awards recognise Microsoft partners for delivering innovative solutions to the market over the past year that directly address customer challenges.

Piers Linney, CEO, Outsourcery, stated: “Every year some 3,000 entries are submitted from more than 100 countries and award finalists are selected from a group of nominations based on commitment to customers, the impact on the market of the solution delivered and the exemplary use of Microsoft technologies. As you can therefore imagine this is a tremendous honour for Outsourcery, being only one of three finalists in the Server Platform category and is recognition of our substantial investment in our ‘O-Cloud’ platform, which is at the core of our service provision capabilities. We are delighted to be recognised by Microsoft, underlining our position as a global leader in cloud computing and we were the only finalist from Europe, which is further evidence of our leadership in the market.

“This level of recognition is not only a key differentiator for us in the market, but it also reflects the tremendous work our team has put in to developing partner centric solutions which address the very real challenges confronting businesses today in often challenging markets.” added Piers. “Being only one of three shortlisted companies means that we are being recognised as one of the top Microsoft-led cloud platform providers, globally.”

The Outsourcery O-Cloud platform provides enterprise-grade cloud services encompassing all aspects of a company’s IT and unified communications needs, delivered as a fully integrated solution. O-Cloud is a truly comprehensive cloud platform based on a range of best-of-breed technologies and is deployed within our IP and telecommunications networks. It was designed to run line of business applications, be optimised for Microsoft workloads from Exchange Server to Lync Server and to offer our partners and their end-customers a highly resilient, high performance, scalable and flexible solution.
