bunny.net and STACKIT have announced a partnership intended to enhance content delivery network (CDN) and edge security capabilities across Europe, with a focus on EU data sovereignty.
Under the arrangement, STACKIT will make use of CDN and edge infrastructure capabilities provided through bunny.net to support faster and more secure content delivery for its customers. The service is designed to support both small and large organisations, with an emphasis on reduced latency, high bandwidth availability, and edge-based security controls.
The collaboration is positioned to support organisations that require compliance with European regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NIS2, and the EU Data Act. It aims to provide content delivery and security functions that align with these requirements while maintaining data within European jurisdiction where applicable.
The integrated offering includes standard edge security features such as web application firewall functionality, DDoS mitigation, and rate limiting to help protect services hosted through STACKIT’s platform.
The companies describe the initiative as part of a broader effort to support cloud and edge infrastructure within Europe, with an emphasis on data protection, operational transparency, and regulatory alignment for enterprise users.
