In this role, Koelmel will be responsible for overseeing global business development, with a focus on revenue growth. His responsibilities include guiding go-to-market initiatives during the company’s current expansion phase. He will also work on aligning sales, marketing, and customer success functions to support operational performance and address challenges linked to evolving cyber threats and changing data regulations.

Koelmel joins Bitdefender during a period of change in the cybersecurity landscape, including the growing use of artificial intelligence and the emergence of new types of threats.
