Commerce has introduced an enterprise service, Feedonomics Agentic Catalog Exports (ACE), which enables merchants to syndicate catalog data to AI-powered platforms such as OpenAI and Google Gemini. The service is intended to support retailers in preparing for participation in emerging AI and agent-driven shopping experiences.

Agentic commerce is moving from early-stage development toward practical application. Participation in these environments typically requires ongoing technical maintenance, as platform specifications continue to evolve. ACE is designed to automate optimisation of product catalogs for agentic surfaces, with the aim of reducing operational effort while supporting wider distribution of product data.

Dell is among the early users of Feedonomics in this context, using the platform to structure a catalog of more than 7,000 items, including laptops and accessories, for AI-driven discovery experiences. The structured data is intended to support more consistent representation across platforms such as ChatGPT, with the aim of improving visibility and accuracy of product information.

As agentic shopping experiences develop, the industry is expected to shift gradually from traditional search-based approaches to more structured, agent-ready product feeds. Early implementations currently combine feed-based and crawling methods, with longer-term development moving towards more structured, data-driven commerce models.

ACE builds on Feedonomics’ existing capabilities in data transformation and syndication, extending them into agent-based, protocol-driven environments. It is positioned alongside existing offerings such as channel syndication and is intended to support future developments in agentic commerce.

ACE is currently available as an enterprise service, with planned enhancements expected to include expanded self-service functionality. These updates are intended to allow merchants to configure and manage exports directly, with potential broader availability for mid-market users over time.

Overall, as AI agents become more involved in product discovery, demand for structured product data is expected to increase. Feedonomics’ Agentic Catalog Exports are positioned within this shift in how product information is distributed and consumed across digital commerce environments.
