The cybersecurity landscape is evolving, and Arctic Wolf has introduced the Aurora Agentic SOC, an AI-driven Security Operations Centre (SOC) designed to change how security operations are conducted. This platform places AI at the centre of SOC operations, moving beyond traditional human-led models.

The Aurora Agentic SOC is built on the Aurora Superintelligence Platform and combines Arctic Wolf’s Concierge Experience with agentic AI. It is designed to address challenges around AI adoption, helping cybersecurity teams manage costs and complexity while responding to AI-driven threats.

Currently, only around 30 per cent of cybersecurity teams have integrated AI tools, highlighting the difficulty of operationalising AI due to resource requirements and skill gaps.

The Aurora Agentic SOC introduces a model intended to provide rapid deployment and measurable outcomes. The system operates through Arctic Wolf’s Swarm of Experts, which includes three types of agents: Oversight, Authoritative, and Process Agents.

  • Oversight Agents manage operations, coordinate activities, and validate results.
  • Authoritative Agents plan, adapt, and execute SOC tasks based on domain expertise.
  • Process Agents automate repetitive SOC tasks, improving efficiency and predictability.

All agents operate within the Aurora platform, aiming to provide consistent oversight and operational reliability.

The Aurora Agentic SOC is designed as a turnkey solution, integrating with existing frameworks without requiring teams to plan or configure their own AI capabilities. This seeks to enable faster deployment and consistent outcomes while avoiding the unpredictability of custom-built AI solutions.

Arctic Wolf’s threat intelligence and incident response resources support the platform, providing additional insights and operational context.

The platform extends Arctic Wolf’s existing Concierge Experience, seeking to enable security teams to focus on higher-value tasks while AI manages routine operations. The solution maintains organisation-specific context throughout deployment and day-to-day use.

The Aurora Agentic SOC aims to improve SOC performance, with faster case resolution and deployment capabilities, typically achievable within days.

Arctic Wolf’s Aurora Agentic SOC provides an AI-driven, agent-led approach to security operations, designed to streamline SOC workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
