TalkTalk Business has completed its separation from the TalkTalk Group and is now operating as an independent managed network service provider. The move marks a transition to full operational autonomy, giving the business control over its strategic decisions and investment priorities.

Following the sale of TalkTalk Business Direct in 2023, the company has phased its transition to an independent operating infrastructure. The new structure is intended to support future growth and allow the business to respond to changing market requirements.

The separation from the TalkTalk Group establishes a self-sufficient operational environment, supported by a modernised system stack and updated service delivery processes. TalkTalk Business is positioned to expand its product portfolio and continue developing its service offerings.

Customers and partners may experience changes in accountability and process efficiency under the new structure. The operational framework is designed to support service delivery and ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

The company’s focus extends beyond connectivity into managed services. Its positioning targets enterprise and public sector customers, offering services across connectivity, networking, security, cloud, IoT, and collaboration.

TalkTalk Business works with technology partners including Cisco, Zoom, and Mitel to deliver services and solutions. These collaborations support access to technology platforms across its portfolio.

As an independent managed network service provider, TalkTalk Business is leveraging its connectivity background to support enterprise requirements. By combining its network capabilities with technology partnerships, the company provides end-to-end solutions focused on growth and operational support.

Headquartered in Salford, Greater Manchester, TalkTalk Business operates in the B2B telecoms market and has more than 25 years of experience covering internet access, data services, and network infrastructure.

Ruth Kennedy, CEO at TalkTalk Business, said: “This marks the beginning of the exciting next phase for TalkTalk Business. We are now operating as a fully independent organisation with the agility and focus needed to deliver our strategy at pace."

With its independent structure, the company continues to serve clients through its established services while pursuing development within digital transformation and managed network solutions.
