Infinum acquires UK-based AMR CyberSecurity to bolster its cybersecurity offerings amid rising threats.

Infinum, a prominent European tech consultancy, strengthens its cybersecurity capabilities with the acquisition of AMR CyberSecurity, a UK-based specialist in penetration testing and cybersecurity services. This move marks Infinum's second acquisition of 2025, further enhancing its global digital solutions portfolio. Previously, the Dutch agency Your Majesty joined their ranks earlier this year.

AMR CyberSecurity's extensive experience in penetration testing, consultancy, and security training, along with key industry accreditations, significantly bolsters Infinum's security offerings. Their client list, spanning industries like telecommunications, finance, and defence, features companies such as Zoom, Anglian Water, and Premier Lotteries Ireland.

AMR and Infinum share common values and standards, setting the foundation for secure digital landscapes. Nikola Kapraljević, CEO of Infinum, stated the acquisition would merge AMR's expertise with Infinum's existing team to form a strong cybersecurity foundation, aligning with the company's expansion plans in the UK and Western Europe. He anticipates cybersecurity services will soon contribute significantly to the company's global revenue.

The heightened threat landscape and stringent regulations, like the UK's new cyber resilience legislation, underscore the need for Infinum's enhanced capabilities. Clients can now access a wider array of cybersecurity services through a globally coordinated team of experts.

Martin Walsham, AMR CyberSecurity's Director and CREST board member, highlights the increased opportunity for AMR to offer cybersecurity solutions globally while maintaining their UK client base. The partnership provides a platform for employees to engage in diverse projects and professional growth at an international level.

Simultaneously, Infinum's personnel benefit from collaborating with seasoned cybersecurity professionals, fostering learning and cross-disciplinary skill development. As demand for cybersecurity expertise surges worldwide, this union positions employees at the cutting edge of the tech industry.

Infinum operates in several offices across Europe, the UK, and the US, employing over 400 specialists who create innovative digital products for a global clientele. The company's accolades include the Red Dot Design Award and multiple titles as Croatia’s Best Employer.
