Saepio strengthens its cyber security capabilities through the acquisition of Ruptura, adding advanced pen testing and compliance solutions to its offerings.

Saepio, a pioneer in cyber security services, has announced the acquisition of offensive security specialist Ruptura. This move aims to bolster Saepio's suite of services by integrating Ruptura’s renowned penetration testing capabilities.

The acquisition is a natural progression for Saepio, born from a fruitful partnership with Ruptura. Over the years, Ruptura has conducted penetration tests for Saepio’s clientele, enhancing the robustness of the cyber security measures recommended by Saepio.

With Tom Heenan, Ruptura’s mastermind, stepping into the role of Director of Offensive Security at Saepio, the quality and consistency of penetration testing offerings remain assured.

According to Daniel Cardenas-Clark, co-CEO of Saepio, the decision to bring Ruptura's team in-house is driven by their exceptional skill set, critical for securing client systems and data. He comments on their excitement to enhance the capability to safeguard vital assets.

Saepio's expansion highlights the significant demand for its services amidst the rising tide of cyber threats, with weekly national cyber-attacks causing concern across the UK. In conjunction, Saepio’s clientele faces increasingly complex compliance obligations.

Co-CEO Amir Nooriala remarks that the acquisition comes at an opportune moment, aiming to broaden their penetration testing operations. This step aligns with Saepio's ambition to emerge as the largest independent cyber security provider spanning the UK and Europe. By addressing evolving challenges in the cyber landscape, the company commits to delivering enhanced solutions.

Ruptura’s global recognition in industry competitions, notably topping UK rankings in the Hack the Box Capture the Flag events, underscores the prowess of the team now joining forces with Saepio. Their expertise integrates seamlessly into Saepio’s cyber resilience consulting, offering a robust compliance and governance package.

Further diversifying its offerings, Saepio has incorporated Ruptura’s Cyber Essentials solutions and certification body status into its mix. Together with its Managed GRC solution, launched recently, Saepio offers an automated compliance framework that reduces audit preparation time while centralising risk management on a unified platform.

Cardenas-Clark elaborates on the impact of Saepio’s Managed GRC service, stressing its role in cutting through the traditional spreadsheet clutter, enabling organisations to concentrate on their core operations without the burden of manual tracking.
