NAKIVO, a leading provider of backup, ransomware protection, and disaster recovery solutions, has announced the release of its much-anticipated NAKIVO Backup & Replication v11.1. The new version introduces a suite of features designed to bolster disaster resilience and minimise data loss and downtime across a variety of IT environments.

The latest release supports five new languages: French, Italian, German, Polish, and Chinese, building on existing support for English and Spanish. This multilingual feature ensures users can perform critical functions in their preferred language, enhancing overall accessibility.

NAKIVO continues to expand its Proxmox VE support with version 11.1, introducing impactful enhancements:

  • Instant recovery with Flash VM Boot allows businesses to restore operations with record speed.
  • VM Replication ensures high availability and swift failover capacity.
  • VM Template Backup facilitates rapid deployment of pre-configured VMs.
  • Reports and test-recovery screenshots provide automated backup verification.
  • Direct recovery of backups from tape without using a staging repository improves efficiency.
  • Efficient log storage with Log Truncation for Exchange and SQL Servers.

NAKIVO tackles common challenges faced by MSPs with the enhanced MSP Direct Connect feature, eliminating the requirement of open ports at client sites. This new framework simplifies deployment and onboarding, while ensuring encrypted communication between MSP transporters for security compliance.

Newly released from beta, Real-Time Replication keeps VMware VM replicas updated alongside the source VM, ensuring seamless failover. By integrating directly into the Site Recovery workflow, the failover process is automated, offering businesses zero data loss and uninterrupted service availability.

With version 11.1, users can enjoy the flexibility of granular backup. This feature allows clients to choose specific folders to back up, whether on local, cloud, or other storage solutions. It assures users of minimal disruption by enabling swift restoration of essential data when needed.

NAKIVO CEO Bruce Talley highlights the seamless integration of these features, stating that the new version makes data protection more accessible than ever. With a focus on resilience, accessibility, and comprehensive support, NAKIVO Backup & Replication v11.1 is positioned as an essential tool for businesses managing complex data protection needs.
