Arvato expands hyperscaler services into Dubai's digital hub

Arvato launches operations in the UAE, enhancing its hyperscaler services with a new data centre offering in Dubai.

Arvato, a leader in supply chain and e-commerce services, has recently bolstered its hyperscaler capabilities by launching a strategic operation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This expansion introduces a data centre services offering located in Dubai, marking a significant geographic advancement for the company.

In collaboration with ATC, a firm specialised in data centre logistics and a part of Arvato since 2025, the new setup supports the infrastructure operations of a leading global cloud provider from its base in the Dubai CommerCity free zone, a primary logistics hub for the region.

Arvato's offering encompasses a range of services, including transportation, warehousing, and white-glove delivery for critical data centre equipment. This comprehensive solution reflects ATC's successful European model, now refined to integrate regional expertise in customs clearance and regulatory compliance specific to the UAE.

"Launching operations in the UAE is a strategic move for us, both geographically and in terms of industry growth,” said Umur Ozkal, Managing Director of Türkiye and UAE at Arvato. “We offer a truly integrated, global-to-local data centre logistics solution that strengthens our global hyperscaler partnerships and supports digital infrastructure in one of the world’s fastest-growing tech markets.

ATC brings its renowned proficiency in last-mile white-glove delivery, enhancing Arvato’s end-to-end supply chain integration, which includes freight forwarding, warehousing, project coordination, and global systems integration.

With the UAE's position as a strategic digital hub—gateway to the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia—Keith Young, Managing Director at ATC and Vice President of Data Centre Services at Arvato, emphasises the advantage of applying their technical logistics expertise in such a dynamic region.

The presence of robust government backing for cloud adoption and connectivity strengthens Arvato's prospect for further expansion across the GCC and MENA regions. This growth underscores Arvato’s capability to conduct technically complex projects meeting stringent time and quality expectations, poised to set new standards for the hyperscaler environment.
