LevelBlue, a prominent figure in the realm of managed security services, has finalised its acquisition of Trustwave, a renowned provider in cybersecurity and managed detection and response. This strategic move positions LevelBlue as the pre-eminent pure-play MSSP worldwide, boasting extensive capabilities across managed security, offensive security, and incident response.

The merger aligns LevelBlue's skill in network security and strategic risk management with Trustwave's prowess in MDR and threat intelligence. This collaboration maximises operational efficiency and optimises cutting-edge cyber technologies, offering a robust security framework across various environments, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid settings.

Notably, the integration bolsters LevelBlue’s threat intelligence ecosystem by merging OTX's open threat-sharing platform with Trustwave's elite SpiderLabs team. The result is enhanced situational awareness and proactive threat mitigation, significantly reducing alert fatigue and expediting detection.

Trustwave’s recent accolades further amplify LevelBlue's credentials, having achieved authorised status in both the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and StateRAMP. Such achievements enable LevelBlue to deliver impeccable compliance and resilience for governmental and defence clientele globally.

"LevelBlue’s acquisition of Trustwave, on the heels of the Stroz Friedberg transaction, marks a pivotal moment in cybersecurity, delivering a very broad portfolio of capabilities among pure-play services providers,” said Craig Robinson, IDC Research Vice President for Security Services. “As cyber risks escalate, resilience is now mission-critical for enterprises and government agencies alike.

This acquisition is a cornerstone of LevelBlue's strategic endeavour to unify top-tier cybersecurity entities, ensuring unmatched client outcomes. In parallel, LevelBlue has also acquired Aon’s Cybersecurity and Intellectual Property units, enhancing its already formidable reputation.

These consolidate efforts underscore LevelBlue's ambition to meet surging demands for comprehensive cybersecurity solutions while remaining agile against evolving digital threats. The firm reiterates its vow to cultivate robust partnerships, delivering tangible ROI and continuous innovation.
