Arctera, a leader in data management, has rolled out updates to its Insight Platform, designed to significantly reduce the compliance risks linked to AI deployments. These enhancements equip organisations, especially those under strict regulation, to better manage AI tool use effectively.

Many organisations struggle to tap into the full potential of AI applications due to challenges in managing information shared in prompts, tracking AI use, and blocking accidental uploads containing sensitive data. Arctera Insight addresses these challenges by introducing powerful new capabilities. These updates allow organisations to capture and integrate the input and output from Large Language Models (LLMs) with existing employee data, transforming governance practices and maximising insights.

Soniya Bopache, GM and VP of Data Compliance, Arctera said, “AI ...brings a new kind of governance challenge. Arctera Insight gives compliance teams the control they’ve been missing, so they can manage AI-generated content with the same clarity as any other information. Arctera Insight is delivering the three Cs of AI governance – empowering organisations to capture, chronicle and contain their AI data.”

Capture: Arctera Insight's ability to capture data from popular LLMs such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot enhances compliance controls. The platform now supports over 120 different data sources, including modern messaging applications like WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams, ensuring comprehensive data retrieval.

Chronicle: The new release introduces InsightBooks, a sophisticated tool that leverages AI to summarise extensive data from various communications channels. By providing crucial context and highlighting patterns, InsightBooks develops strategic weekly summaries and action plans from the complex web of communications, thus streamlining workflow management.

Contain: Organisations can now safely lift the prohibition on public LLM use, unlocking AI's transformative potential while containing sensitive data. A free browser plug-in has been introduced to mask sensitive information, thus safeguarding compliance and facilitating a broader adoption of AI tools without compromising security.

The Arctera Insight Platform empowers compliance teams to govern AI-generated content with unprecedented transparency and control, ensuring the capture, chronicle, and containment of AI data. These innovations pave the way for a more disciplined approach to AI data management, allowing clients to manage risks effectively and in real-time.
