Palo Alto Networks, known for its dominance in the cybersecurity realm, has made significant strides by acquiring Protect AI, renowned for its prowess in AI security. The acquisition supports Palo Alto Networks' commitment to shielding the evolving technological infrastructures from insecurities attributed to the rapid growth of AI.

Protect AI's cutting-edge technology, now integrated into Palo Alto's comprehensive Prisma® AIRS™ platform, enables a robust security approach for AI-driven innovations. This combination aims to counter complex AI-related cybersecurity threats, making it a pivotal part of frequent AI deployments. Palo Alto Networks aims to offer unparalleled AI lifecycle protection with this integration.

Anand Oswal, SVP and GM, Network Security, emphasised the criticality of ensuring security as businesses embrace AI. "The promise of AI is immense, but so are the security risks. Our customers are moving quickly to adopt AI and are asking for a partner who can secure their entire AI ecosystem at scale. Protect AI's capabilities are a powerful complement to our innovative Prisma AIRS platform, and scales our ability to provide both depth and breadth in AI security to deliver protection across the entire AI lifecycle."

Moreover, with Protect AI becoming a part of Palo Alto Networks, it fortifies the platform's promise to create a 'Secure AI By Design' system. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of end-to-end AI risk addressing, from vulnerability to runtime protection, particularly in sensitive sectors like national security.

Leidos, an early adopter of Protect AI, demonstrates safe AI acceleration, proving the acquisition's significance. The partnership between Palo Alto Networks and Leidos facilitates governments and industries in their quest for secure AI-driven operations.
