CloudBees, a leader in software delivery solutions for enterprise DevOps, has introduced the CloudBees Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server to the AI Agents and Tools category in AWS Marketplace. This addition allows customers to discover, purchase, and deploy AI agent solutions, including CloudBees' MCP Server, using their AWS accounts, which rapidly accelerates AI agent development.
The MCP Server is a pivotal service that connects CloudBees Unify with large language models like Claude and GPT and integrates with popular development tools and IDEs. This core service grants real-time access to CI/CD pipeline, testing, and security data from Unify. Teams benefit from the ability to trigger workflows, expedite prototyping, and enable collaboration without direct API interaction with CloudBees Unify.
The server supports flexible integrations, routing insights such as build summaries or deployment alerts into tools like Slack or PagerDuty. This standardization ensures governance and security across AI interactions, aiding organizations in scaling software delivery while maintaining control and speed.
CloudBees MCP Server's integration with Amazon Q negates the need for separate AI agents for infrastructure management and DevOps. Developers can manage both infrastructure and software delivery from a unified interface, facilitating faster setup and reducing operational overhead. Seamless compatibility with CloudBees Unify enhances shared access, governance, and further accelerates time to value.

The availability of AI Agents and Tools in AWS Marketplace has significantly shortened the procurement process, spurring AI innovation by reducing vendor evaluation and negotiation times. Centralized purchasing through AWS accounts gives customers control over licensing, payments, and access. This system decreases friction, allowing enterprises to explore agentic software delivery effectively.
