NinjaOne has introduced NinjaOne MDM™ for macOS, dramatically expanding its Mac management capabilities. IT teams and MSPs can fully manage Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, as well as mobile endpoints across iOS, iPadOS, and Android, from a single, intuitive interface. The addition of Mac MDM capabilities gives NinjaOne’s customers and partners visibility, security, and full control over any endpoint, anywhere.

“The usage of Macs in professional environments has created significant challenges for IT teams and MSPs that must adopt different practices to manage and secure them to the same level as their Windows PCs. Historically, these mixed-OS environments meant teams needed to juggle multiple disparate tools, or compromise on manageability and security,” said Gabe Knuth, Principal Analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group. “This fragmentation increases complexity and costs, creates security blind spots, and requires specialised technicians to learn and use different interfaces and workflows – reducing productivity and leaving organisations vulnerable to compliance and security risks.”

With the introduction of NinjaOne MDM for macOS, customers can fully manage Macs using NinjaOne with the same power, precision, and confidence they have with Windows devices. IT teams can automate patching, enforce configurations, deploy software, and remotely support all endpoints with consistent workflows from a single platform – giving organisations complete visibility across their entire environment to minimise blind spots and security risks. This improves efficiency and productivity while reducing costs. Additionally, the solution provides comprehensive Mac management capabilities that are scalable and easy to use.

"With NinjaOne MDM for macOS, we've significantly reduced our IT complexity and operational costs," said Charles Gaskill, Desktop Supervisor at East Texas A&M University. "Before NinjaOne, we struggled with several management solutions that created confusion and inefficiency. Now, we have a single platform that gives us complete visibility and control across all our Windows and Mac devices. Our old system involved one or two specialists who handled the MDM portion, and the rest handled the RMM side, but now we can merge expertise into one program that allows all my team to work on all devices.

"IT leaders are drowning in tools, alerts, and disconnected endpoints – and previously, managing macOS devices has only made endpoint management more complicated," said Rahul Hirani, Chief Product Officer at NinjaOne. "Managing hybrid environments with fragmented solutions isn't just frustrating – it's risky, costly, and unsustainable. NinjaOne MDM for macOS simplifies managing and securing all endpoints, making organisations more efficient, productive, and resilient."
