Node4 has announced a new leadership structure under which Hannah Birch will assume the role of Group Managing Director. The move follows the successful integration of several businesses acquired by Node4 over the past three years, with the company now offering a comprehensive suite of integrated IT solutions and services under a single corporate brand. Node4 Founder, Andrew Gilbert, continues in his role as CEO and Paul Bryce becomes the company’s Chief Experience Officer (CXO).
Having completed a number of strategic acquisitions over the past three years, Node4 has built an end-to-end portfolio of leading IT solutions and services which are critical to the success of both private and public sector organisations across the UK. Under a single corporate brand and integrated leadership, customers will benefit from a seamless experience encompassing Business Applications, Modern Workplace, Cloud, Network, Data and Security. Node4’s approach also includes building on the company’s partnership with Microsoft and leveraging its prestigious Inner Circle status to create a Microsoft Centre of Excellence.
Birch joined Node4 in January 2023 to lead the company's Digital Business and integrate recent acquisitions, including risual, ThreeTwoFour, TNP and Tisski. Birch brings over two decades of technology leadership experience, including over 10 years as a Managing Director with Accenture. As the company’s new Group Managing Director, with a proven track record of driving technology innovation and executing complex business transformations, she will guide the business through its next stage of growth as it continues to meet the evolving needs of its diverse client base.
Commenting on her appointment as Node4 Group Managing Director, Birch said, “I am delighted to lead Node4 into this exciting new chapter as we bring together our comprehensive suite of IT services and solutions under a single banner. By integrating the capabilities from our recent acquisitions, we've assembled an industry-leading portfolio that enables us to support our customers across the full technology stack – from cloud infrastructure to modern digital transformation initiatives leveraging Microsoft's latest solutions. Since the acquisitions, valued clients such as British Heart Foundation, Breedon and ArrowXL have expanded their services beyond core Node4 offerings, benefiting from the group portfolio.”
Birch continued, “With our unique combination of deep infrastructure experience and innovative digital services, we are ideally positioned to act as the trusted partner organisations look for on their cloud and digital transformation journeys. I look forward to working with our fantastic team to build on our success in the years ahead.”
“Since joining the senior leadership team last year, Hannah has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision,” said Andrew Gilbert, Founder and CEO of Node4. “Hannah’s appointment as Group Managing Director is a demonstration of our confidence in her ability to drive Node4 forward in delivering innovative, client-focused solutions. We are excited to see her take the helm and lead our talented team on the next stage of our journey.”
As part of his role as CXO, Paul Bryce will lead Node4's unparalleled customer satisfaction and service excellence strategy, ensuring that every Node4 client experiences the highest quality of engagement across all touchpoints. This strategic focus on customer experience underlines Node4’s dedication to not just meeting but exceeding client expectations, reinforcing the company's position as a leader in the digital services industry.
Also joining the company’s senior leadership team are Mark Skelton and Mairead O'Connor, who will be working closely to expand Node4’s Digital Services business, both bringing extensive knowledge and experience from the business and technology sectors. Skelton will be leading the Digital Services business as Node4’s new Chief Technology and Strategy Director, while O’Connor assumes the role of Practice Operations Director, reporting to Skelton. With over two decades of industry expertise, Skelton has honed his skills within the Microsoft services arena, holding various senior leadership roles aimed at defining and executing growth strategies. O’Connor joins Node4 following leadership roles in several high-growth companies with a focus on digital professional services. Most recently, she established a new Cloud Platform Engineering business unit at AND Digital in London.
“Node4 is a company that shares my passion for innovation, and I am beyond excited to join the team,” said Skelton. “Technology is a crucial part of every business but helping our clients to understand how to align their culture, behaviours and processes to deliver true digital transformation is an area that Node4 can really help add value to. Node4's direction and continual investments into this service aligns perfectly with my own experience and expertise and I look forward to growing the Digital Services business with support of the amazing team.”
In addition, Node4 is delighted to announce the appointment of Jim Casey, who joins the business as head of its CXM Practice. Casey brings over 25 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise turnkey solutions with leading Systems Integrators, including PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting, IBM and NTT DATA.
