Exasol expands for international growth

Exasol, the provider of the world's fastest in-memory analytic database, has appointed Stefan Hoelzl as VP International Sales. Exasol helps businesses transform themselves by bringing data together and enabling fast analysis for data-driven decisions.

In joining Exasol, Hoelzl will help deliver on its global growth plans and ensure collaboration across borders as the fastest analytic database company expands rapidly. He will not only be looking to gain more data-driven customers, but he will be responsible for ensuring Exasol’s strong community of customers continue to receive the best experience, working in partnership with them to execute their data-driven strategies.
 
Hoelzl brings a proven track record as a sales leader in the IT software industry, operating in high growth companies. His experience in the channel, cloud and direct sales management puts him in the perfect position to help expand and grow Exasol’s worldwide business.
 
Prior to joining Exasol, Hoelzl held a number of senior management roles in Germany and the USA. Most recently, he was Regional Director, Central Europe at Atlantis Computing. Other positions include Senior Director of Channel Sales at Symantec, VP EMEA at Parallels, and VP Central Europe at AppSense.
