· Transformer Compartment Heat Reduction - Allows better convection cooling characteristics within the heat/transformer compartment, and safety through compartmentalization.
· Compartmentalization for Safety - Enhances the arc flash safety to require the minimum amount of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to work in a live environment. The AMP PDU design takes human error and electrical arc containment into consideration with innovative compartments that automatically mitigate risks.
· PDU Start Up - The new offering also includes an electronic start-up process for additional cost savings. Customers will receive a tablet equipped with an interactive App that guides them through a start-up checklist. Once the procedure is completed, the App securely transfers the data to Anord, or designated recipients for processing.
“We have extended our award-winning, UL 891 compartmentalized switchgear, that is based on the IEC Form 4 Type 7 innovations, to design an even smarter power distribution system,” said Rob Sweaney, Vice President of Operations and General Manager for Anord Critical Power, Inc. “It’s our goal to improve the safety conditions when mission-critical facility personnel conduct PDU maintenance and troubleshooting. We are proud our engineers have met this goal with the new AMP PDU.”
