Flexera Software's Software Monetisation platform is now a certified solution being offered within the Azure Marketplace.

Azure Marketplace is an online applications and services marketplace that enables application producers to offer their solutions to Azure customers around the world. Through collaboration with Microsoft, Flexera Software’s Software Monetisation solution, FlexNet Licensing, enables application producers to easily migrate their enterprise applications to Microsoft Azure while using flexible licensing and entitlement management capabilities.

Flexera Software’s presence in Azure Marketplace makes it easy for application producers or in-house application developers to rapidly and cost-effectively transition their software solutions to Azure while ensuring their intellectual property is being protected. Moreover, application producers can use Flexera Software’s usage management capabilities to gain insights into how their products are being used and optimise subscription-based revenue-generation.

“As a global leader in Software Monetisation, Flexera Software is committed to enabling application producers to seamlessly license their software in the environments demanded by their customers – such as Azure,” said Mathieu Baissac, Vice President of Product Management at Flexera Software. “With our solutions easily accessible in the Azure Marketplace, application producers can now more easily learn how to capture revenue as customers’ priorities shift to cloud-based solutions, and attract new customers through different usage models such as burst of use – while reducing cost and IT burden.”

“The Azure Marketplace combines Azure ecosystems into a single, unified platform to better serve our customers and companies we collaborate with, improving the eCommerce experience by simplifying the search, evaluation and purchase process, and offering the ability to deploy a wide range of applications and services in just a few clicks,” said Dan Sandlin, Senior Partner Director, Microsoft Business Evangelism. “Flexera Software’s certification and membership to Azure Marketplace gives developers easy access to a licensing platform to help them quickly address growing preferences for Azure solutions and in the process, open up new revenue streams and market opportunities.”
