Philippe Llorens appointed CEO of Canopy

Canopy, the Atos Cloud powered by EMC and VMware, has appointed Philippe Llorens as CEO. Philippe will lead the Canopy team to further strengthen its offering and market positioning in order to firmly establish it as the European leader in cloud serving clients globally.

With over 30 years’ experience and a proven track record of success in the software business, IT infrastructure and services, Philippe joins Canopy from Compuware, where he has been leading successfully the EMEA sales & field operations for nearly 15 years. Before joining Compuware, he was General Manager in Western Europe for Lotus Development.


Prior to Lotus, Philippe spent 20 years with companies like GFI, Digital Equipment Corp., Thales and Sun Microsystems where he held various sales and sales leadership positions. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from ESC in Montpellier.
