Local government contract win in Managed Cloud Services

eg solutions, the back office optimisation software company, has won a major new contract to deploy the eg operational intelligence® Managed Cloud Services in partnership with a major third party outsourcing company. The contract is within Local Government and represents eg solutions’ first deployment in this vertical.

The contract has a total value of at least £1.6m over four years with approximately £500k expected to be recognised in the financial year commencing 1 February 2015. The balance will be recognised over the following three years adding further to the Company’s order book and forward visibility.

The deployment is intended to optimise the processing performance of council tax and benefits across a number of local authorities. The initial implementation will commence immediately.

Commenting on the contract win, Elizabeth Gooch, Chief Executive Officer of eg solutions, said:
