NaviSite Inc. has been awarded the Storage, Virtualization, Cloud (SVC) Award’s prestigious ‘Private Sector Cloud Project of the Year’ award, in partnership with ASOS.

The enterprise-class managed cloud services company and online fashion outlet were recognised for their deployment of NaviSite’s NaviCloud ONE Desktop-as-service (DaaS) and NaviCloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform.

Using NaviSite’s flexible cloud-based solutions ASOS was able to launch ASOS Fashion Finder and ASOS Marketplace and continue its remarkable 30 percent year-on-year growth. DaaS was deployed to enable ASOS to grow its UK team and manage overseas developers more effectively and securely.

"Supporting the exponential growth and ambition of ASOS is a 24/7 job; it was critical for us to work with a reliable and responsive partner - and NaviSite was a perfect fit," said Michael Sheehy, Senior Manager Technical Service and Programmes, ASOS.

“We work hard to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our customers. More than ever customers like ASOS demand secure, robust and intelligent cloud platforms,” said Sean McAvan, Managing Director, NaviSite Europe Ltd. “It’s a great honour to be recognised by the SVC Awards. It is especially meaningful as it is decided by the public, so thank you to everyone who voted for us online. We look forward to building on our successful partnership with ASOS and continuing to deliver innovative cloud solutions.”
