Becrypt Inc has signed a distribution agreement with SYNNEX Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and leading business process services organization headquartered in South Carolina. The partnership makes SYNNEX Becrypt’s first major distributor in the US, significantly extending its presence. In addition, the agreement opens up new markets for SYNNEX as Becrypt’s range of mobile security solutions become available to SYNNEX’s extensive network of partners and resellers across the US.

Dr Bernard Parsons, CEO at Becrypt, said: “The need to protect sensitive data on the move is an increasingly common requirement that goes beyond all geographical boundaries and our partnership with SYNNEX is a major step forward. Critical to SYNNEX Corporation’s Emerging Vendors Strategy, our agreement benefits both parties. It gives us the perfect platform for expanding into the US marketplace and will help create valuable new revenue streams for SYNNEX and their partners as they tap into our knowledge and innovative approach to security.”

Earlier this year, Becrypt achieved a significant milestone when it introduced the latest version of its FIPS 140-2 certified encryption solution Becrypt DISK Protect v8.1, which supports an unprecedented range of Windows 7 and Windows 8 tablets. This release is Becrypt’s response to the growth in demand in the tablet form factor and the requirement to be able to secure all devices with a single solution. Becrypt customers can now mix and match platforms and use one easy to manage product which integrates with Becrypt’s centralized management solution.

Most recently, Becrypt announced a technology partnership with Getac to launch the first secure ruggedized Android tablet solution suitable for defense and federal markets. This further underlines Becrypt’s commitment to developing innovative yet practical solutions that protect data on a variety of form factors, enabling customers to take advantage of the latest mobile technology.

Becrypt’s products meet stringent certification requirements including Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 government computer security standards.
