Das ergab eine aktuelle Umfrage von Interxion unter mehr als 400 Hosting Providern. Allerdings ist Cloud Computing hierzulande deutlich gefragter als im Rest von Europa. Hier liegt der Anteil von traditionellem Hosting bei 56 Prozent, während die Nachfrage nach Cloud Computing 36 Prozent und Anwendungs-Services 40 Prozent einnehmen.
Die Ergebnisse belegen, dass die großen europäischen Unternehmen die Cloud noch nicht in dem Maß akzeptiert haben, wie noch vor einem Jahr prognostiziert. Interxion führt dies auf die Unsicherheit der IT-Entscheider hinsichtlich der Migration in die Cloud zurück. Hier müssen Hosting-Unternehmen und Cloud Provider in Deutschland ihre Beratungsservices als vertrauenswürdige Anbieter weiter ausbauen.
