Olery realises benefits Of Cloud application integration

CloudBees, Inc. says that Olery, the Amsterdam-based provider of online reputation management tools for the leisure and hospitality industry, has deployed WEAVE@cloud, reducing the time it takes to develop integrations between internal sales and marketing applications from, on average, 14 days down to 14 minutes.

WEAVE@cloud is so simple to use that Olery’s marketing department is able to independently create synchronisation events for applications such as Wufoo, Gmail, Salesforce.com and Unbounce and integrate the associated APIs with multiple data streams – all without writing any code and without needing internal IT resources or assistance.

“Since our use of WEAVE@cloud, our throughput has increased phenomenally,” explains Wilco van Duinkerken, CTO, Olery. “Previously, even a small change in an existing internal service could take a while to execute because a developer needed to individually create, migrate and test data integrations for the various APIs due to the lack of a common tool or service. Today, our marketing team creates a new form or other integration activity for a service within minutes, without the development team’s involvement or the need for programming knowledge or expertise. The development team is now able to focus 100 percent on its core objective of enhancing and improving the Olery reputation management tools we offer to our leisure and hospitality customers.”

WEAVE@cloud is a new cloud-based data integration service from CloudBees that allows users to easily migrate and synchronise data across all cloud and on-premise applications and databases, without writing any code. WEAVE@cloud simplifies the way developers can compose services and weave them together with PaaS-hosted application logic, or app-centric integration.

“Given the growing number of APIs, hosted data sources and SaaS services that enterprises have to contend with, the ability to move, integrate and synchronise data is critical to their ability to quickly bring new offerings to market. With WEAVE@cloud, we are unique in offering facilities for service and data integration to developers,” said Sacha Labourey, CEO, CloudBees. “The integrations are easy to set-up, incorporate into applications and maintain. The old way of taking weeks to develop bespoke integrations between various software applications and services is gone. WEAVE@cloud gives our customers a competitive advantage in bringing applications to market more quickly.”

With WEAVE@cloud as part of the CloudBees PaaS offering, developers are able to manage connections and data transfer between more than 20 hosted services, including SalesForce, Zendesk, SendGrid, MySQL DB and Cloudant. Users also can run data migration and synchronisation tasks in the cloud on the CloudBees Platform or on-premise, and achieve app-centric integration by mashing up application logic and service integrations into an integrated system. Finally, users can also build their own custom connectors, typically with no programming involved.
