Eaton unveils Experience Centre in Manchester

Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton has announced the opening of its new Experience Centre in Manchester. The new training and experience facility has been set up to showcase Eaton’s latest power management solutions and to provide hands-on training by its experts.

In order to create an environment that is interesting and informative Eaton’s new experience centre features an exhibition area equipped with touchscreen displays, enabling visitors to browse through information via video, images and diagrams. The touch screen displays showcase Eaton’s latest solutions for markets such as: Automotive, Data Centres, Food Processing and Packaging, Green Building Solutions, Marine and Offshore etc. Some of the products featured on the displays include: MCB Distribution Boards and cable trunking interface kit, MEM® series Wiring Accessory Range, Power XL variable frequency drives, PKE Motor protective circuit-breakers, 5P/5PX UPS, RP Series IT Rack enclosures, Power Xpert™ UX and Busbar.


Additionally a ‘hands-on’ training workshop and a Smart Home Experience training room which can be viewed and operated via webcams and a remote online interface are available, as well as Eaton products on show throughout the centre, some as working models.


Commenting on the new experience centre, Alan Birks of Eaton said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Manchester centre. We wanted to create an environment that was informative as well as creative to give visitors the best Eaton experience. The venue is ideal for events such as customer visits and meetings, new product launches, press conferences and CPD seminars.
