DCIM values brought to the UK

Expanding its global reach, FieldView Solutions will showcase its award-winning FieldView platform at the Hosting & Cloud Transformation Summit Europe 2013, April 9-10 in London, UK (Booth #4). Additionally, Sev Onyshkevych, FieldView Solutions’ CMO, will present DCIM’s return on investment value on April 9, 2:45pm. The company’s latest presentation underscores the UK data center market’s need for innovative software solutions to help reduce power consumption and improve capacity planning via better management practices.

A recent report by analyst Andy Lawrence of 451 Research indicates that rising energy prices in Europe could well position suppliers of data center efficiency technology within the European markets. Onyshkevych expands more, “Electricity prices are increasing at an alarming rate across most European countries. The use of DCIM software can have a dramatic impact on helping organizations reduce energy consumption as well as use this finite resource more efficiently.”

Earlier this year, FieldView Solutions forged a partnership agreement with UK-based AIT Partnership Group Ltd (AIT) which leverages the company’s award-winning DCIM solution to help enterprises streamline data center management processes – ensuring uptime, reducing energy costs, and boosting efficiency. On April 11th Onyshkevych will join Andrew Gibson, Director of AIT Data Center Services, to present, “Quantification of DCIM Efficiency,” at IET, Savoy Place, London, at 10am and 2pm. The presentation will reveal best practices for optimizing data center operations—based on real-world case studies. Interested parties must reserve seating.

Deployed in several of the world’s largest data centers, FieldView DCIM is used in six of the top 10 banks, three of the top five technology providers, and 12 of the largest colocation facilities worldwide —with a total power capacity managed by FieldView surpassing 1.5 Gigawatts. The company will leverage the Hosting & Cloud Transformation Summit to demonstrate its enhanced FieldView 5.2 DCIM solution, showcasing:
· Holistic Visibility
· Inclusive Reporting Features
· Enhanced Polling and Alarming
· Plug-n-Play Protocols
· Enhanced Reporting

FieldView Solutions continues to experience strong growth as it expands into Central and South America, the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia Pacific, Japan, India, Singapore, and China.

“In our experience, we have found that a single-version DCIM licensing model brings powerful data centre monitoring capabilities while also delivering a high ROI value,” said Andrew Gibson, Director of AIT Data Centre Services. “FieldView is a perfect example of a single-version DCIM solution, delivering exceptional value across many data centre deployments.”
