Ixia to acquire Net Optics, Inc.

Ixia has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Net Optics, Inc. (Net Optics), a leading provider of total application and network visibility solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Ixia will pay $190 million in cash, in a cash-free/debt-free transaction and subject to certain adjustments based on Net Optics’ net working capital at closing. The transaction is anticipated to close in the fourth quarter of 2013, and is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.

During next week’s OpenStack Summit in Hong Kong, Brocade will discuss and demonstrate its blueprint proposal to extend the advanced networking capabilities of the OpenStack Networking framework, Neutron.
