Disability insurer Movir recently signed a 3-year contract with Proact for the supply, implementation and management of a converged data center infrastructure solution based on the FlexPod reference architecture. FlexPod is a validated solution from Cisco and NetApp that combines networking, computing and storage in one shared IT infrastructure. The environment as a whole will serve as the basis for increasing the availability, scalability, performance and associated IT infrastructure services.

The final report from ETSI’s Cloud Standards Coordination initiative was made public on December 11 in Brussels. The report was delivered at an event jointly organized between ETSI and the European Commission attended by over 100 experts from the cloud community.
