New Hercules heavy duty cable hanger designed for data centre use

Ellis Patents has launched the Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger for use in data centres, aimed at supporting evolving infrastructure requirements.

Ellis Patents has introduced a new addition to its product line, the Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger. The product is scheduled to debut at Data Centre World Frankfurt and is designed to accommodate the requirements of modern high-capacity cable infrastructures.

As data centres evolve to support increased power and cabling, the need for cable supports has grown. The Hercules hanger, developed with input from industry professionals, is intended for heavy cable installations in demanding environments.

With sizing options ranging from 6” to 25”, the Hercules hanger is designed to accommodate a range of cable diameters and installation requirements, supporting both current setups and potential future expansions. This range of options allows for application across different infrastructure needs.

The Hercules hanger is designed for strength and durability, providing a method for securing heavy cables while supporting installation efficiency and long-term performance. It is intended for high-load applications where mechanical performance and cable integrity are key considerations.

The hanger also features UV resistance, making it suitable for installations where cable containment may be exposed to external conditions, such as transition zones or perimeter routes.

The launch comes as data centre contractors face increasing demands to deliver infrastructure capable of accommodating larger power cables within tight deployment timelines. In these environments, cable support systems play an important role in operational reliability and safety.

Kelly Brown, Sales Director at Ellis, highlighted the increasing importance of heavy-duty cable support as data centres expand in scale and complexity. The Hercules hanger has been developed to provide a practical solution focused on flexibility, durability, and reliability.

By launching the Hercules at Data Centre World Frankfurt, Ellis is participating in industry discussions around infrastructure design and installation, engaging stakeholders involved in hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise projects.

Attendees will be able to view the Hercules Heavy Duty Cable Hanger and its application in high-capacity cable systems. With this launch, Ellis Patents expands its range of cable management solutions for the data centre sector.
