In an environment shaped by artificial intelligence and cloud-first approaches, Azul reported corporate momentum in FY26, with enterprises across multiple sectors using its platform to optimise cloud costs, modernise Java at scale, and manage licensing expenses.

The company recorded growth across its product portfolio, with adoption particularly in sectors where performance and compliance are critical. Finance, Healthcare, Retail, and Telecommunications all saw year-on-year growth, with customers using Azul Prime, Azul Core, and Azul Intelligence Cloud to support Java application performance in enterprise environments.

Product and technology development contributed to the company’s performance in FY26. In April 2025, Azul introduced the Intelligence Cloud and Azul Migration Toolkit, designed to support Oracle Java migration by helping organisations identify and prioritise Java instances for management and replacement.

In September 2025, Azul launched the Prime Optimiser Hub, a capability enabling large-scale Java workload management across distributed environments, including microservices-based deployments.

The company received industry recognition during the year, including “Cloud Infrastructure of the Year” for 2025 and a Gold Stevie International Business Award.

In November 2025, Azul entered into a strategic investment agreement with Thoma Bravo, aimed at supporting expansion, platform development, and enterprise reach.

In December 2025, Azul acquired Payara, expanding its offering with enterprise-grade Jakarta EE-based solutions and integrating these into its broader open-source Java platform.

Channel and alliance partnerships also contributed to growth in FY26. Azul reported 73% growth in strategic value-added resellers (VARs) and expanded its global channel network to 346 partners.

The company launched a Managed Services Provider (MSP) programme and developed additional technology partnerships intended to support developer productivity and cloud efficiency. These included collaborations with companies such as Moderne and JetBrains.

“FY26 was a defining year for Azul as enterprises increasingly relied on our platform to run Java with greater performance, predictability and cost control in complex, cloud-first environments,” said Scott Sellers, co-founder and CEO of Azul.

Across FY26, enterprises continued to adopt Azul’s platform to manage and optimise Java workloads in cloud-based and distributed environments, reflecting broader use of enterprise Java in modern application infrastructures.
