Node4, a provider of secure, AI-enhanced cloud and managed services, has introduced Node4 CSP Advantage, an AI-driven Financial Operations (FinOps) solution. It is designed to help customers reduce licensing and cloud costs by an average of 10–15%, with potential savings of up to 25%. Total savings across Node4’s customer base are projected to reach £2 million over the next year.

As cloud adoption increases and associated costs rise, organisations are focusing more on managing expenditure. Node4’s recent research indicates that cost optimisation is the second most important strategic priority for IT leaders and is also a key factor in public cloud adoption. As organisations prepare for the new financial year, managing cloud and licensing costs is a growing focus.

The solution consolidates data from multiple platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Node4’s Virtual Data Centre platform, into a single interface. The AI system analyses licence usage, evaluates cloud consumption scenarios, and automates optimisation processes to help identify underused resources and reduce unnecessary spending.

In the current economic environment, organisations are expected to operate with tighter budgets. Technology spending is increasingly under review ahead of the new financial year, and visibility of cloud and licensing costs is becoming more important. Node4 CSP Advantage aims to support this by providing insights into usage and cost optimisation through consolidated data analysis.

The service is included for all Node4 CSP customers at no additional cost, providing visibility into licensing usage and cloud spending, and supporting reductions in monthly cloud and software expenditure.
