John Parsons joins Affinius Capital as Managing Director

Affinius Capital appoints John Parsons to lead U.S. data centre initiatives across its portfolio.

John Parsons has been appointed as Managing Director at Affinius Capital, where he will focus on data centre development initiatives across the United States. In this role, he will also work on advancing strategic priorities and supporting partnerships across the company’s platform.

Parsons is responsible for leading the firm’s U.S. data centre development activities, including site selection, execution, and project delivery. His role also involves engagement with tenants, utilities, and other stakeholders in relation to Affinius Capital’s hyperscale and digital infrastructure portfolio.

Prior to joining Affinius Capital, Parsons served as National Lead for Data Centers at an institutional development firm, where he oversaw the execution of its U.S. data centre strategy. His experience includes involvement in the entitlement, acquisition, leasing, and development of more than 15 gigawatts of data centre capacity across the Americas. He has also held roles as Principal of Real Estate and in advisory services.

“Affinius Capital has built an impressive platform in digital infrastructure supported by a strong track record and a highly respected team,” said Parsons.

Parsons graduated from Massey University in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Business Studies in Real Estate Development and Valuation. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on its Data Center Property Council.
