atNorth strengthens leadership with key director appointments

atNorth bolsters leadership team with strategic appointments for sustained growth in Nordic data centres.

atNorth, a Nordic colocation and data centre provider, has unveiled the appointment of two directors to enhance its leadership capabilities. This move aligns with the company’s ambitious long-term expansion strategy.

Tatu Tuominen, Director of Public Affairs and Communications

Taking charge of policy engagement and corporate communications, Tatu Tuominen will aim to craft a narrative that resonates with atNorth's strategic objectives. His role will contribute to atNorth’s continued development as a sustainable data centre provider in the Nordics. With an extensive background in communications, Tatu has held senior positions in various sectors, notably at Bayer, VR Group, and Telia Finland. His past experience as a Ministerial Advisor is expected to support atNorth’s dialogue with policymakers.

Tatu is stationed at atNorth’s FIN02 facility and will report to Chief Strategy, Marketing, and Communications Officer, Fredrik Jansson.

Anne Helenius-Heir, Director of HSE

Anne Helenius-Heir's role focuses on developing the health, safety, and environmental strategy across atNorth's facilities. With her expertise from Shell, ABB, and Kemira Oyj, Anne is set to advance atNorth's framework for a safe and sustainable operational environment. Her efforts will seek to ensure that atNorth not only maintains but also elevates its data centres, aligning with industry standards for safety and sustainability.

Operating from atNorth’s FIN02 campus in Espoo, Finland, Anne reports to Chief Sustainability and Compliance Officer, Janne Sigurdsson.

In the wake of increasing demands for eco-conscious data centres, atNorth's talent infusion signifies its commitment to leveraging deep industry expertise and new perspectives for forward-thinking growth.

The appointments coincide with additional strategic roles, including directors for delivery across Iceland, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden, alongside key positions in commercial and client management. CEO Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson emphasised their role in propelling atNorth towards delivering eco-friendly data solutions.
