TES Power elevates Michael Beagan to Managing Director

TES Power appoints Michael Beagan as Managing Director to lead global growth in data centres and critical power markets.

TES Power has made a significant announcement with the promotion of Michael Beagan to the role of Managing Director. Recognised for his outstanding leadership and commitment to operational excellence, Beagan will steer the business as it scales in key global markets, focusing on areas such as data centres and critical power.

Beagan brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent over three decades in the electrical and power solutions industry. He began his career as an electrical apprentice in 1993, progressively taking on technical, operational, and leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with several leading infrastructure organisations. His expertise and hands-on approach have consistently fostered the development of advanced manufacturing capabilities, major expansion programmes, and the establishment of new production facilities to cater to global demand in both data centres and energy markets.

Michael joined TES Power in 2022 as General Manager of the company’s extensive Data Centre Campus in Ballykelly. During his tenure, he has spearheaded a comprehensive site transformation, including full refurbishments and the introduction of modern manufacturing processes. The facility now thrives as a centre of excellence for switchgear and the off-site manufacturing of modular electrical rooms, underpinning TES Power’s expansion in high-demand markets.

As the new Managing Director, Beagan is tasked with cementing TES Power’s stature as a reliable provider of future-ready power solutions. His strategic priorities encompass expanding TES Power’s global footprint, investing in advanced manufacturing, and nurturing a culture that emphasises integrity, safety, and continuous improvement.

Michael is keen on leveraging his experience: “Having started my career as an apprentice, I know first-hand the importance of investing in people, developing skills and building teams that can deliver consistently for customers. Over the last few years, we've transformed our Data Centre Campus into a modern, highly capable manufacturing hub that is supporting critical data centre and power infrastructure projects around the world. My focus is to build on that momentum - continuing to enhance our capabilities, to ensure TES Power remains a partner of choice for clients who need reliable, innovative and future-ready power solutions."
