Colt DCS strengthens leadership team for hyperscale growth

Global provider Colt DCS boosts leadership with experienced directors to drive hyperscale projects.

Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), a renowned provider of hyperscale and enterprise data solutions, has announced two notable additions to its leadership. The appointment of David Hyatt and Florian Hoyndorf as senior directors marks a strategic move to enhance its growth trajectory.

David Hyatt has taken on the role of Senior Director of Development and Delivery UK & Europe. Bringing over 15 years of expertise in the hyperscale data centre industry, David has successfully delivered hundreds of megawatts of capacity by leading high-performing teams. His illustrious career includes senior roles at Iron Mountain Data Centers, Yondr, and ISG, where he excelled in the complete lifecycle from site selection to commissioning. Notably, he is recognized for his strategic planning, sustainable design insights, and commitment to safety. At Colt DCS, David's remit will encompass leading strategies and execution in Site Development, Design, Commercial, and Delivery across the UK and Europe.

In complement to David's role, Florian Hoyndorf joins as the Global Senior Director of Commercial Investment & Asset Strategy. Florian holds an impressive 25 years of experience in corporate real estate and development, having served in top positions at Cromwell Property Group, Logista, Amazon, ALDI, among others. As previous Head of Development Europe at Cromwell, he has been pivotal in shaping major project financing and operational enhancements. His responsibilities at Colt DCS will see him actively sculpting the corporate development and asset strategy, ensuring a robust growth framework. Moreover, Florian engages with academia as a visiting professor at ESCP Business School, imparting his insights to future generations.
