Colliers bolsters EMEA data centres strategy with strategic appointment

Colliers integrates data centre services across EMEA with Lottie Tollman as Head of Data Centres Advisory.

Colliers, a leading professional services and investment management firm, has strengthened its data centre offerings in EMEA with the strategic appointment of Lottie Tollman as Head of Data Centres Advisory, EMEA. This initiative forms a part of Colliers' overarching strategy to integrate and enhance their existing data centres expertise across key markets, thereby establishing a dedicated full-service regional platform.

Operating from the Colliers EMEA headquarters in London, Lottie Tollman will collaborate closely with Gonzalo Martín, based in Madrid, who heads the Data Centres Capital Markets, EMEA. Together, they will leverage their extensive market knowledge and regional reach to advise clients effectively throughout the region.

The restructured operational framework builds upon the foundation set by Colliers' core data centres team in Spain, led by Gonzalo Martín and Jose Mariá Guilleuma, known for their bespoke solutions in investment, financing, development, and leasing. By incorporating experts from vital markets such as Spain, the UK, Italy, and France, the new regional platform offers clients both local insights and collective expertise of a leading advisory team across EMEA.

Commenting on the new structure, Colliers EMEA CEO, Davoud Amel-Azizpour, expressed that the unification of their data centres team into a single EMEA entity demonstrates their dedication to delivering seamless, comprehensive solutions in the dynamic real estate market.

Lottie Tollman shared her enthusiasm about joining Colliers, highlighting the firm's in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of the niche sector's unique needs and challenges. She aims to collaborate with her colleagues to assist clients in capitalising on the unprecedented growth opportunities in the data centres market.

Gonzalo Martín acknowledged the strategic timing in response to enduring strong investment appetites amidst predicted AI growth. As demand surpasses supply in EMEA, Martín looks forward to steering tailored solutions that help clients navigate complexities and seize opportunities in this rapidly evolving market.

Lottie Tollman will commence her role in November, joining from Cushman & Wakefield, where she held the position of Head of Occupier Representation, EMEA Data Centres.
